The Materials
At the basis of our work there are four essential elements: leather, brass, thread and zippers.
We use only vegetable-tanned cowhide, the finest leather for its elasticity, durability, and beauty. Each hide comes from the shoulder of the cow, the finest part, and is transformed through a slow, natural process, just as it was done in the past.
Tannin, extracted from plants and bark, gives leather warmth, character, and the ability to improve over time: each piece becomes unique, alive, and personal.
Cast brass buckles, Gütermann threads, and YKK zippers complete our creations, combining tradition and contemporary design in products that last and tell a true story.
We also use high-quality leathers such as crocodile, Galuchat stingray, lizard, eel and python, which comply with the guidelines set out in the Washington Convention for the Protection of Endangered Species of Flora and Fauna (CITES).
